DJPETER TILBROOK has been a top DJ playing every Wed, Thu and Friday night for 7years regularly attracting crowds of over 1,000 on Friday nights. Peter was also a member of iconic Australian 60's band THE MASTERS APPRENTICES and spent a life time in the music scene. Peter is just at home with a guitar in hand or spinning the best DISCO TRACKS. 

The British Workingmen's Club a magnificent (285) seat Entertainment complex with car parking for (150) vehicles, fully Air Conditioned and has a fully stocked Bar. The venue is located at 11 - 15 Davis Street and is just one St west of the SOUTH ROAD and GRAND JUNCTION ROAD intersection. This venue is ideally suited for Cabaret & 70'S & 80'S DISCO INFERNO, the venue has one of the biggest and best dance floors in Adelaide, and has a large stage that over the years has seen many International and local Australian artists perform on it.

There are two large car parks one adjacent to the venue and the other directly across from the entrance.

THE BISTRO which is Under New Management will open at 6pm and caters for very enjoyable and very affordable meals including several main meals, salads and vegetables and sweets. Arrive early to avoid the BISTRO RUSH.

THE BRITISH WORKINGMEN’S CLUB IS ABOUT TO CHANGE FOREVER. A BRAND-NEW ROCK AND BLUES BAR, A NEW BILLIARD, 8 BALL, DARTS ROOM AND PIANO BAR CHANGES ARE ABOUT TO BOOST LIVE ENTERTAINMENT OPPORTUNITIES AND EXPERIENCES IN ADELAIDE.
The British Workingmen’s Club is pleased to announce that under the recently elected management Committee major and exciting changes were approved and are almost completed to revitalize and repurpose this large, iconic and amazing Entertainment venue. These changes will make the venue a vibrant hive of activity on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and a Sunday afternoon session from 4pm till 8pm, further details will be released closer to the launch date. It will be one of the very few venues in Adelaide where punters can see top bands playing in two separate large rooms some nights at the same time something quite unique in Adelaide.

We are excited to announce that the amazing (3) full sized Billiard tables and (2) 8 Ball tables have been relocated to our equally large Darts Room making a whole new environment and experience for lovers of Billiards, 8 Ball and Darts. This has made way for THE NEW LEGENDS ROCK & BLUES BAR a great new ADDITIONAL VENUE to hang out with friends listening to great music. As our Bistro is now under new management with GEORGE’S BISTRO & TEAM meals will soon be available in this new area on most days.

The large room has undergone a major makeover with the removal of all the ball tables and now incorporates a New Dance Floor, seating areas, a new large professional Band Stage and new Lighting. A massive 110" wall projector screen has also been installed in the Legends bar so that punters can also watch sporting events and other significant events like Olympics, Commonwealth games, Soccer, World Cup, New Year’s Eve, Melbourne Cup, Oaks Carnival races, Tour Down Under, Rock Concerts etc. as they enjoy the live music. The walls throughout this huge space have been painted black with silver signage creating a fantastic look and atmosphere and new venue for lovers of live music to enjoy great ADELAIDE ROCK & BLUES bands.

This new venue will have a completely different feel than the large concert room and it will look and function quiet differently as well. In most cases we will be using acts that traditionally have not been used at all or not a lot in the concert room, like Heavy Rock bands, popular Blues bands, heavy Sixties Rock Bands, Rock DJ'S and Rockabilly. The venue can also be used for future ADELAIDE FRINGE SHOWS which have been so incredibly successful in our other room and also possibly new room hire opportunities and special events.

How can I get to the venue?

By car, bus and taxi cab. For a girls night out do what many others do, HIRE A MINI BUS so you do not have the worries of driving if you have had a few drinks. 

What about accommodation?

The closest accommodation would be at the MANSFIELD PARK HOTEL located on Grand Junction less that a km from the venue.

Can I get a refund on my tickets?

In most cases yes you can get a refund if claimed prior to the concert date. Unfortunately no refunds will be made after the concert.

What payment types do you accept?

We accept visa,  We also have ticket sales at the window .
